We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, and would like the opportunity to work for an organization where you can make a significant impact.  The successful candidate will be an individual with a strong ability to effectively work in a high volume and fast-paced environment to triage/prioritize multiple items while delivering excellent service to our drivers operating our rolling assets. They will also possess a strong ability to make informed decisions based upon training, past experiences, and tools provided to present “out-of-the-box” solutions to the organization. Most importantly, this role is the first point of contact for our drivers operating our rolling assets when they experience a roadside issue.

Essential Functions:

  • Effectively coordinate with vendors and drivers, emergency breakdowns and roadside repairs for rolling assets  
  • Initiate communication with maintenance vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service to our drivers in a timely manner
  • Maintain constant communication with Equipment Manager(s) and Operations regarding known equipment issues/concerns.
  • Successfully facilitate handoff of long-term maintenance issues to responsible Equipment Manager
  • Instilling a safety culture consistent with our company core values and enforcing company standards/rules regarding safety
  • Projects by request from Regional Maintenance Manager and other roles at PTI

Work experience requirements:

  • 1 or more years in customer service
  • Transportation, supply chain, logistics experience preferred
  • Associate’s Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Transportation or Business related fields preferred
  • Must be able to learn new web-based portals and be proficient in Microsoft software; Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
